HOW DO YOU CHOOSE SUPPLIERS/MANUFACTURERS?
ValueWorks carefully screens all potential suppliers and manufacturers, making sure that they are honest, trustworthy and well established. We always make sure that the suppliers we use can satisfy all capacity, quality standards and delivery needs. For those suppliers that qualify, the ValueWorks team visits each supplier, meeting with management, design engineers, quality control and line staff, and conducts on-site due diligence. We assign a team of American staff and Chinese staff to every client, which means there are no cultural or language barriers and there is no confusion when it comes to communicating quality and delivery standards.
HOW DO YOU ENSURE QUALITY?
All suppliers and manufacturers used by ValueWorks are subject to our due diligence assessment. If they qualify, they are added to our list of quality suppliers. After manufacturing is under way, the ValueWorks team monitors product quality on site. When necessary, we assign engineering staff to client projects. We keep suppliers accountable and maintain control over quality at its source.
CAN I COUNT ON MY PRODUCTS ARRIVING ON TIME?
Even if everything proceeds smoothly in China, a late delivery can endanger an entire project. ValueWorks understands how important deadlines are and takes the extra step to make sure deliveries are always on time by developing optimal packaging and by closely monitoring shipments.
WHAT ABOUT SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS?
Depending on where in China your products are being made, ValueWorks finds the best shipper and determines the best possible logistics and shipping configurations for its products. ValueWorks also ensures that all necessary paperwork and customs forms are in order in China and in the U.S. to allow for smooth delivery.
WHAT ABOUT IDENTIFYING NEW PRODUCTS?
One of the most important services ValueWorks provides to its clients revolves around the identification of new products from China's suppliers. Several ValueWorks clients rely on our team to find new potential products and to alert them to new trends regarding materials and functions. Our team regularly collects samples of new items and ships them to our clients for consideration.
DO YOU HAVE AN OFFICE IN CHINA?
The ValueWorks China office is located in Guangzhou, located in the southern province of Guangdong. Our China staff handles supplier management, sampling, production oversight, quality and logistics.
DO YOU HAVE A REQUIREMENT FOR A MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY?
Because ValueWorks specializes in luxury and custom products, we have no fixed requirement for minimum order quantities. Often the products we provide are so unique, the order is for one item. However, sometimes the suppliers and manufacturers will require minimum quantities for orders of lower-cost items.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
We have been in business in China since 2000.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE AN ORDER?
After the manufacturing is completed, shipping generally requires 3 to 4 weeks.
